

Fingerprint Time Attendance
Time attendance systems are used by companies to record working hours of employees.
By using a time attendance system, an employer is able to have the monthly and daily attendance records of the employees. And hence the employer is able to monitor the employees' attendance performance.
Time attendance systems have 2 components namely:
a) Hardware
b) Software
Hardware:
In time attendance system,they are called the reader or recorder. It is a device that records the employees' IN/OUT time. In the current market ,the common methods of recording the employee's attendance is by using finger or proximity card (RFID type). Whenever the employee report to work or leave the workplace, he needs to scan his finger or proximity card.
Software:
A time attendance system's program is installed at the computer that process the attendance data that recorded by the reader/recorder. The time attendance system's program can produce report(s), that indicate daily IN/OUT time, overtime, lateness, early out, total working hours(daily or monthly) and etc.
The common methods of transferring time attendance record from the reader/recorder to computer is by using RS232,RS485, TCP/IP, USB pen drive.
